SACRED MONSTERS FESTIVAL – SECOND APPOINTMENT

Second appointment with Mostri Sacri Festival, the event conceived and directed by the singer-songwriter and musician from Livorno Giorgio Mannucci and for the first year at The Cage.

The musical day will be dedicated to Paolo Conte, who will be honored starting at 19:30 by the singer Valeria Caliandro from Prato and the musician Nico Sambo from Livorno. Before them, starting from 16:00, Claudia Campolongo will perform songs by Franco Battiato and Nada, the singer Di Giovanni from Livorno will perform songs by Pino Daniele, the pianist Giulio Fagiolini will play songs by Mia Martini, while Calliope will sing songs by Piero Ciampi, Umberto Bindi and Vasco Rossi.

Born with the intent to pay tribute to the great artists of the Italian music tradition, the festival will host over 40 musicians, artists, singers, and songwriters. An unmissable event for all enthusiasts of the vast Italian musical and artistic production, which does not want to have anything to do with a simple collection of cover bands: Mostri Sacri Festival aims to be a delicate dedication, full of love and gratitude towards all the artists who have made Italian song great. The spectators will be able to take a real journey back in time where they can listen again to our favorite songs, stroll among the vintage objects stands selected by Mangiadischi, enjoy a great beer to the notes of a playlist specially curated between one concert and another. Moreover, there will be video projections of live performances by some of these real “iconic monsters” of Italian music. As every Sunday, it will be possible to attend the Exhibition of the Monsters set up in the small foyer of The Cage, with the works of two artists dear to the festival: Margherita Tramutoli, known as La Tram, and Valentina Restivo.
