Moruga Drum

Moruga is a street percussion band born in Pisa in 2014 that plays the typical instruments used in BATUCADA, but also draws influences from traditional Brazilian rhythms, as well as genres like rock, afro, arabic, pop, D&B, and others.

An energetic show, with engaging choreographies, for an audience that wants to feel the rhythm in their stomach!

Each show is entirely conceived and created by the band, and accompanied by engaging choreographies that follow its rhythm.

Among the most recent important participations are the Mojoca Festival 2024 in the province of Salerno, the Sambafestival 2024 in Coburg (GER) and the magical street art festival Pflasterspektakel in Linz, Austria in 2025.
