The twenty names, still under definition, will bring to the stage images and aspects of different lives to create collective dialogues aimed at the entire community. A blend of poetry and narrative to give voice to stories from different worlds, ensuring the variety of literary genres and the presence of multiple publishing houses each year.

Among the confirmed guests, the Livornese Federico Maria Sardelli, a musician, painter, and writer who in 2009 received the Silver Gonfalon from the Regional Council of Tuscany for artistic eclecticism and cultural depth, Valerio Magrelli, a poet, writer, translator, and literary critic, who will pay homage to Giorgio Caproni, Carlo Lucarelli, an acclaimed writer of yellow and noir literature, Antonio Scurati, the award-winning Strega Prize winner in 2019 and 2020 and at the top of the charts for two consecutive years, Daniele Mencarelli, a poet and writer, whose novel “Everything Asks for Salvation” was adapted into a TV series in 2022 by Netflix with direction by Francesco Bruni, the Livornese Eva Giovannini, a journalist, TV reporter, and host, Silvia Calderoni, an actress, author, and performer, with her debut novel “Milk Teeth”, Roberta Recchia whose book “All The Remaining Life” has been sold in 15 countries, including England, France, Spain, and Germany even before its release in Italy, and among others Piergiorgio Pulixi and Romana Petri. The official schedule is still being finalized and will soon be announced in its entirety.

Promoting the spread of reading by making it a social habit and bringing cultural institutions out of their boundaries, into open-accessible and welcoming spaces where people can gather, and where books become encounters and discussions, bringing well-being and entertainment. This is the dual objective of LeggerMente, which in its sixth edition retraces directions already successfully experimented and once again opens a window onto the multifaceted and multifaceted world of imagination, culture, and creativity.

All events will be free to enter and take place in the park at Villa Fabbricotti, the home of the Biblioteca Labronica F.D. Guerrazzi, the center of the Livorno library system.
