Capraia Island, Sea Beer Festival, and End-of-Summer Festival

A jewel of the Mediterranean made of untouched nature, crystal-clear sea, and centuries-old history where antiquity blends with present-day reality and the goodness of the territory is offered to visitors through fresh fish and a good myrtle liqueur. The island of Capraia, a two-and-a-half hour boat ride from Livorno, opens to the public on the weekend of September 30th and October 1st with two eventful days: the Sea Beer Festival (Capraia) and the End of Summer Festival (Confcommercio) merge for a unique and highly appealing event. On September 30th and October 1st, on Via Assunzione, the promenade of the harbor, the local beer, typical dishes prepared by restaurants, and products from the splendid island territory, displayed in outdoor stalls by the shops, will take center stage. On Saturday evening, September 30th (8-11 PM), the entertainment will be guaranteed by the dazzling Tanzania Acrobatic Show: 8 dancers, circus performers, and acrobats who will perform during dinner time with a traveling tour and an engaging show in the docking square of the ship. The show will have as its main theme the importance of nature conservation.
