Maddalena Carrai (www.maddalenacarrai.com – hello@maddalenacarrai.com). Illustrator and Graphic Designer lives between Paris and Livorno where she was born in 1992. She works as a freelance illustrator for various clients in the fashion industry, scientific magazines, and adult and children’s publishing.

She worked as an illustrator for Lady Gaga’s Born this way ball tour, creating several illustrations for the concert surroundings (press area, relaxation area, fan area, etc.). For Brandon Maxwell, she did a similar job during the 2015 and 2016 New York Fashion Week. As an illustrator, she also works in publishing for both children and adults for various clients such as Edizioni Gribaudo, Gallucci editore, Centauria Libri, Cancer World Magazine, Jacobin Italia, L’Espresso, and several foreign magazines and brands like H&M, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Penguin Random House, and many others.

Since 2016, she has also worked as a graphic and UX, UI designer for the Livorno-based company Oimmei and since 2018, she has been teaching at The Sign Academy in Florence as a teacher of graphic design and illustration.
