A band with over 5 million streams and tracks that have made it to the covers of Spotify playlists like Rock Italy. From Umbria with fury, the Elephant Brain knock on the doors of The Cage to stop in the city with their “Almeno per ora – Club Tour”, which has been touring the main Italian squares since last autumn. Energy and intensity are what the quintet born in Perugia in 2015 brings to the stage, to show that the live dimension is the one that best represents them. With tracks like “Niente di speciale” (2020) and “Canzoni da odiare” (2022), along with the latest singles “Sto meglio”, “Una casa in cui tornare” and “Benedici”, the Elephant Brain promise their loyal audience an intriguing setlist made up of everything that over the years has led them to conquer a place alongside the major names of the Italian rock scene. This tour is a sort of new chapter in their career, as well as a way to be heard and seen while waiting to return to the studio to record new music.
The Elephant Brain are Vincenzo Garofalo, Andrea Mancini, Emilio Balducci, Roberto Duca, Giacomo Ricci. In 2015, the year of their foundation, they also recorded “Elephant Brain”, a self-produced EP that allowed them to play around Italy and reach the finals of the Arezzo Wave Umbria 2016. In December 2019, after three years off the scene for writing the new album, they won the SIAE Award for the best composition with the song “Scappare Sempre” at the Rock Contest. On January 17, 2020, their debut album “Niente di speciale” was released, co-produced by the band itself along with Jacopo Gigliotti (Fast Animals and Slow Kids) and distributed by Libellula/Believe, reaching 5 million streams. Preceded by the singles “Anche questa è insicurezza” (featured on the Rock Italy playlist cover), “Neanche un’ora sveglio” and “Come mi divori” (which sees them again on the cover of Rock Italy), the band’s second album, “Canzoni da odiare”, was released in November 2022, always for Libellula/Believe, followed by a 40-date tour on the most important stages of the Peninsula. In spring 2024, they return live with two new singles, “Sto meglio” and “Una casa in cui tornare”. In 2025, the band joins the Woodworm Label roster and starts working on new music. On May 23, 2025, “Benedici” is released, a song born from the collaboration between the Elephant Brain and Voina. In short, over ten years of uninterrupted activity and full of beautiful things. Including the Livorno stop, where at the theater in Via del Vecchio Lazzeretto the doors will open at 10 pm, to start the show at 10.30 pm.
