The Bonsai Bonsai, a band from Livorno born in 2015, have returned to the music scene with an important change and a new proposal.

The Bonsai Bonsai are a quintet (born ’95-’98) from Livorno that took shape definitively in 2015. The band’s sound explores psychedelia with electronic grafts, alternating extended times with tight and distorted rhythms. The language of the vocals is English, the melodic thread of the songs. In addition to the musical component, there is a visual component, curated by the band itself. In September 2017 they joined the roster of Suoni d’Avanguardia and were invited to play in Berlin, at the historic venue Badehaus, preceded by a live performance at Mauerpark, the “park of freedom” in the German capital. In October of the same year, they were among the 30 Italian artists selected for the 29th edition of the Rock Contest by Controradio. Their first eponymous EP was artistically produced by Daniele Catalucci (Virginiana Miller).
