Guide to listening to the new and highly anticipated album by the Rolling Stones

The album, available from Symphony since Friday, October 20, is the first new release from the Stones since A Bigger Bang in 2005, followed by the cover album Blue & Lonesome.

They resume after the summer break at Symphony Record Shop, Piazza Cavour, 23, the meetings with music, between history, anecdotes, and listening, organized by Only Music Can Save Us Association. Friday, October 20th, 6:00 pm, Stefano Lucarelli and Massimo Volpi will present a listening guide to the new highly anticipated album by the Rolling Stones entitled “Hackney Diamonds“.

The album, available at Symphony starting from Friday, October 20th, is the first collection of unreleased songs by the Stones since the time of “A Bigger Bang” from 2005, which was followed by the cover album “Blue & Lonesome“.

Hackney Diamonds” is produced by Andrew Watt, known for his work with Post Malone, solo Eddie Vedder (with whom he has toured), Iggy Pop (also in his supergroup), Ozzy Osbourne, Elton John.

The album contains 12 tracks and was recorded in various studios including Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, Metropolis in London, Sanctuary in Nassau, Electric Lady and Hit Factory/Germano in New York. The artwork was created by Paulina Almira.

Drummer Charlie Watts appears on two tracks: “Mess It Up” and “Live By The Sword“. In the latter, former Stones member Bill Wyman is also on bass, and Lady Gaga on vocals, and Stewie Wonder on piano and keyboards. Another track, “Bite My Head Off“, features Paul McCartney on bass, while Elton John plays piano on “Get Close” and “Live By The Sword“.

The album listening session (on vinyl) will be made possible thanks to the collaboration with Albizzati Hi-Fi, who will provide one of their beautiful sound systems.
