Great Risorgimentale Dance

On the occasion of the commemoration and celebration of the Livorno Revolts of May 10-11, 1849 organized by the Livornese Committee for the promotion of Risorgimento Values – Municipality of Livorno. The Dance Society Circles and groups are invited to participate in the Grand Ball in the splendid setting of Terrazza Mascagni, on the seafront, near the Naval Academy overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Risorgimento Grand Ball will take place at 5 pm, at the end of the city event ‘Celebration of the Defense of Livorno on May 10-11, 1849’. Risorgimento Grand Ball with dances of nineteenth-century society. Quadrilles, waltzes, contradances, polkas, mazurkas, marches, and gallops. A tribute to history through dance to emphasize the founding values of the Risorgimento. Dancers from various Dance Society Circles and some students from the Cecioni High School in Livorno specially trained by the Livornese Dance Society will participate.
