Giulia Mutti – Brave singer-songwriters

Giulia Mutti, is a Tuscan musician and singer-songwriter. Influenced by listening to the great Italian songwriters and international pop/rock, Giulia took her first steps at the age of 19 as a musician and opening artist for a whole tour by Paolo Vallesi. From 2012 to 2017, she pursued both her live activity (opening, among others, for PFM concerts and participating in the MUSICULTURA prize) and her studio work, where, supported by musicians and producers such as Fabrizio Barbacci (Ligabue, Negrita, etc.) and Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, The Cure, etc.), she experiments and defines her musical world.

In 2017 she signs a double contract with Bmg: authorial and record. After participating in Sanremo Giovani 2018 with the song “At least three”, in March 2019 she released the Ep “The Favorites, vol.1” an acoustic project in homage to female songwriting. Also in 2019, she won the SIAE “For those who create” grant for new works, in the music sector.

Spring 2020 welcomed “The head out” her first album of unreleased songs published by Bmg, led by the homonymous single and produced by Fabrizio Barbacci, a guru of Italian rock. In the summer of 2020, her #thetestafuoritour starts, which also sees her opening for Negrita and Paolo Benvegnù.

The artist with a distinctive live personality, outlines a world where authenticity is everything, finding a point of contact between songwriters and pop stars. The production is modern, suggestive of a certain pop-rock tinged with electronics that however incorporates pianos, guitars, and real drums without ever disconnecting from the importance of a refined, never banal and direct text.

In 2022 HITWEEK, the world’s most important festival dedicated to the spread of Italian music, chooses Giulia Mutti for the Miami event where she performs with Diodato and Cosmo. In January 2024, she is a finalist of the Fabrizio De Andrè Prize, and in October she will return to the United States to open for The Kolors at the Italian music festival in the world. The artist is currently working on her second album of unreleased songs.
