Off the canvas is a completely new show, a theatrical shot, signed by Filippo Caccamo, who returns to the stage with an original, unpublished and above all irresistibly funny project.
With his unmistakable irony, Filippo builds a real scenic universe where, starting from art, one reflects without realizing it, and is dragged by a tight rhythm made of lightning-fast gags, hilarious dialogues, surreal situations, original music, surprising characters and set designs. A comedy show that alternates moments of pure comedy with more intimate flashes, never losing the lightness and sincerity that have always distinguished the artist.
Off the canvas is a colorful and unpredictable mosaic, in which every piece, a song, a punchline, a memory, a laugh, contributes to create a living theatrical experience, out of the ordinary. It’s a shameless confession disguised as a comedy, or maybe the other way around.
More than a show, an invitation to let go. To laugh, to recognize oneself, to look at one’s own flaws as part of a unique and unrepeatable work, made of contradictions, surprises and wonderful absurdities. A canvas, off the canvas!
