Fair of St. Anthony

Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 June will see the return of the traditional Fiera di Sant’Antonino in the streets of the Fiorentina neighborhood.
138 operators, including food and non-food vendors, will exhibit their products on stands located along via Provinciale Pisana, piazza Barriera Garibaldi, and via Garibaldi.

Here are the main traffic modifications that will be in effect from 7:00 on 12 June to 24:00 on 13 June, and thereafter until the end of the cleaning operations:

• No transit or parking with forced removal on both sides of via Provinciale Pisana between viale Ippolito Nievo and via Marco Mastacchi;

• No transit or parking with forced removal on both sides of via Garibaldi between via Jacopo Sgarallino and piazza Francesco Ferrucci, in piazza Barriera Garibaldi, in piazza Francesco Ferrucci, and in largo Divo Demi;

• Establishment of a reserved lane for emergency vehicles with a width of at least 4 meters on via Giuseppe Garibaldi, piazza Barriera Garibaldi, piazza Francesco Ferrucci, and via Provinciale Pisana between via Firenze and via Marco Mastacchi. The Municipal Police vehicles exiting the deposit at piazza Francesco Ferrucci are authorized to transit in this lane for regular services. AAMPS Spa vehicles and companies contracted by the same company for waste collection operations are also authorized to use this lane;

• No stopping in the last 20 linear meters near the intersection with via Provinciale Pisana to allow for turning on the following streets: via San Matteo, via Martellini, via Azzati, via del Vigna;

• No parking with forced removal, except for what is established in the previous point, on via San Matteo (even house numbers), via Martellini (even house numbers), via Azzati (even house numbers), via del Vigna between via Carlo Pigli and via Provinciale Pisana (odd house numbers);

• No transit, except for residents’ vehicles, vehicles authorized by Municipal Police agents, AAMPS Spa vehicles, and companies contracted by the same company for waste collection operations from 6:00 to 8:00, vehicles serving disabled persons with a specific Authorization per art. 381 of the Road Traffic Regulations on the following streets: via San Matteo, via Martellini, via Azzati, via del Vigna between via Carlo Pigli and via Provinciale Pisana with the establishment of alternating one-way traffic to regulate the double direction of travel of these vehicles;

• Establishment of a stop and give way in via Azzati at the intersection with via Marco Mastacchi;

• Establishment of a stop and give way and mandatory left turn in via Aldobrandino Mochi at the intersection with via Azzati;

• Mandatory left turn (for vehicles coming from via Provinciale Pisana) in via del Vigna at the intersection with via Carlo Pigli;

• No parking on both sides of via Corrado Dodoli near the intersection with via Garibaldi for 15 meters;

• One-way traffic in the lane connecting largo del Mercato Ortofrutticolo with via Russardo Capocchi and in via Russardo Capocchi (direction largo del Mercato Ortofrutticolo – via Russardo Capocchi);

• No transit or parking with forced removal in via Francesco Cangiullo, except for vehicles heading to internal parking lots that can pass in both directions;

• Two-way traffic and no parking with forced removal on both sides of via Giordano Bruno between house numbers 1-3-5-7-9 and the parking area present;

• No parking with forced removal in motorcycle parking spaces and the first adjacent space, in the parking area as mentioned above;

• Reversal of the current traffic direction in the lane of via Giordano Bruno between the main road and via Francesco Cangiullo;

• Establishment of two parking spaces reserved for vehicles serving disabled persons (participants in the Fair) in piazza Francesco Ferrucci near the main road of the square and viale Ippolito Nievo, adjacent to the cycle path;

• Establishment of a parking space reserved for Civil Protection vehicles and a parking space reserved for AAMPS Spa vehicles and other companies tasked with waste collection operations, adjacent to the aforementioned parking spaces, in piazza Francesco Ferrucci near the main road of the square and viale Ippolito Nievo, adjacent to the cycle path;

• Relocation of parking spaces for vehicles serving disabled persons, indicating the specific authorization number for personalized spaces, as follows: • from via Provinciale Pisana house numbers 24-39-43 to via San Matteo between house numbers 7-13; • from via Provinciale Pisana house number 168 to via del Vigna house number 280; • from piazza Barriera Garibaldi (median strip side) to piazza Barriera Garibaldi in front of the building on the south side; • from piazza Francesco Ferrucci house number 10 to piazza Barriera Garibaldi in front of the building on the south side. • from via Provinciale Pisana at number 148 to via Azzati (generic space), regarding personalized space number 8205.

Public transport vehicles that usually pass through the streets affected by the Fair will follow alternative routes.
