Excursions on the island of Capraia. One morning at Sella dell’Acciatore

Along the Vado del Porto and along the ancient mule track that crosses the island, immersed in the Mediterranean scrubland, we will arrive at the locality “Il Piano”, a beautiful natural basin cultivated with vineyards surrounded by green hills. Continuing along the mule track and then on the path, we will reach the enchanting “Sella dell’Acciatore”, where from a fantastic viewpoint on the western coast, we can admire the sea, the steep coast, and Corsica. After a stop to observe the bird species that frequent the area and the plant species that colonize the saddle, a habitat of particular conservation value, we will return to the village following the same itinerary.
