Excursion to the palamenti of Tigghielle

A beautiful guided tour towards the heart of the island of Capraia will allow us to visit the archaeological area of Tigghielle, where we will observe a wonderful cluster of ‘palmenti’, the tanks used in the past for pressing grapes and wine production. Although also present in the other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, we will discover the exceptional features of the Capraia palmenti and by observing the beautiful vineyards of the locality ‘1I Piano’ we will be able to imagine the life of the past.
