Francesco Rainero is 28 years old, born and raised in Florence. As a singer-songwriter and musician, after experiences that led him to collaborate with Bungaro, play with Niccolò Fabi and Max Gazzè and open for Ligabue’s concert at Parco di Monza, in 2017 he released his first album “Mancino”, which includes a duet with Grazia Di Michele. In 2018 he opened two concerts for Francesco De Gregori and won the Lunezia Prize. He is the youngest winner of Musicultura 2018 and a finalist for the Bertoli Prize 2018. In the summer of 2019, he started his first tour during which he traveled Italy with his musicians. In December 2019, “Generazione”, his second album project, was released. On June 12, 2020, the single “C’eravamo tanto armati” was released, published by Nar International. In the summer of 2020, he joined the artistic committee of the project “TG Suite – La cronaca cantata” directed by David Riondino. In March 2021, “Credimi Francesco” was released, featuring Jerry Marotta on drums. In December 2021, “La libera bellezza” was released, a project of acoustic covers with Vincenzo Genovese on the piano. Since 2017, he has been collaborating with the National Night of the Classic Lyceum, in the writing and performance of the event’s anthem. Since 2022, he is the frontman of the project Innocenti evasioni, dedicated to the repertoire of Lucio Battisti. His latest single is “In qualche modo faremo”, released in April 2024.

Alongside his music career, since September 2020, he has been managing Li.Be – Libera Bellezza Associazione Culturale in Florence, a multicultural and creative center. He is involved in organizing events and festivals, also within the programs of the Municipalities of Florence and Scandicci (Firenze dei Bambini, Open City, Chiavi della Città, etc.). Since May 2022, he collaborates with Culter and Stazione Utopia as artistic director of theatrical and cultural events and artistic workshops (Amor sementa in voi, 100 canti per Siena, etc.).

For years, he has been working in the field of artistic, theatrical, and musical education – especially aimed at children and young people – with projects of musical theater, creative writing, and music initiation, independently and in collaboration with the Music Academy of Florence.
