Peace Walk in Colognole
The meeting is at 11 o’clock at the party area and the start of the walk with a stop at the Monument to the Fallen of Colognole, for the commemoration and the laying of flowers.
The walk will continue to the Sources of the Leopoldine Aqueduct.
On Thursday, April 25th in Colognole will take place the 19th “Peace Walk”, organized by ANPI, together with the Municipality and with the patronage of the Tuscany Region.
The walk will continue until the Sources of the Leopoldino Aqueduct. At 12:30, the group will return to the festival area where at 1 pm the lunch organized by the Proloco Collesalvetti and the Scouts of Guasticce will begin. At 3 pm there will be a concert of popular music, at the festival area, with the Italian Trio Show.
Until April 25th, the photographic exhibition “The colligiano territory during the Second World War” can also be visited at the Palazzo Romboli room (former Pinacoteca), organized with the contribution of the Fotoclub Collesalvetti BFI, the photographic group Vicarello and Marzino Macchi, in memory of Macchiavello Macchi, first mayor of the Municipality of Collesalvetti after the Liberation.
