B FOLKS live in Fortezza Nuova

The B Folks were born as an entertainment band with elements from other groups of the Livorno and Pisa scene, from Lupe Veléz to Stato Brado to Captain Crunch & the Bunch. Some of the musicians have been part of historical projects of the ’80s like Donatella Doda Mariotti and the current drummer Andrea “Vipera” Salani. They propose a repertoire from the ’60s/’70s including songs from Kinks, Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, alternating great classics with lesser known pieces. Currently, the B-Folks are Stefano Ilari on vocals, Donatella “Doda” Mariotti on backing vocals, Alex Keith Gefferson and Gianluca Lunardi on guitars, Filippo Papucci on bass and Andrea “Vipera” Salani on drums.
