Marine Protected Areas

Mayors and Administrators of the Parks Communities have started the ANCI national coordination, as a community of practice to systematize the experiences carried out on the territory and as a laboratory to increase the proposal capacity for the enhancement of the territories. The working path involves a series of territorial meetings. The appointment in Tuscany, hosted in the extraordinary natural landscape of the Island of Capraia, includes a specific in-depth analysis on the role and prospects of protected marine areas, with the aim of sharing the importance and strategic nature of biodiversity protection with sustainable development of the territories.
