“An Italian Story” is the very special proposal of this evening, which sees the meeting between a classical bassoonist and a jazz pianist; inspired by the Italian melody of the immediate post-war period, the concert takes inspiration from the figure of the well-known songwriter Giovanni D’Anzi, through a series of original songs by Troja. “Beauty on a Bicycle”, “Turn Down Your Radio”, “When Rabagliati Sings” have an unparalleled stylistic character, in which echoes of American jazz blend with a context linked to the predominant melodic component of our Opera.
