At the 4 Mori Paolo Virzì is presenting “Un altro Ferragosto”. Meeting with the cast and director.

After more than 25 years since the release of “August Vacation”, a masterpiece that marked a generation and won the David di Donatello for Best Film, the super director from Livorno Paolo Virzì returns to direct the big screen with a sequel to the famous film titled “Another August”.
An exceptional cast, including Silvio Orlando, Sabrina Ferilli, Christian De Sica, Laura Morante, Vinicio Marchioni, Gigio Alberti, Paola Tiziana Cruciani, and Rocco Papaleo, just to name a few, for a comedy in which many of the actors have returned to play their roles.
The beautiful event will be hosted at Cinema Teatro 4 Mori, on Wednesday, March 13 at 4.30 pm. At the end of the screening, around 6.30 pm, Virzì and the film cast (including Livorno’s Alessio Marra) will greet the audience in a meeting moderated by writer Enrico Mannari.
The plot: on an August evening in 1996, in the house on Ventotene where the journalist Sandro Molino spent his holidays, his partner Cecilia revealed to him that she was pregnant. Today Altiero Molino is a twenty-six-year-old digital entrepreneur and returns to Ventotene with his model husband to gather old friends around his ailing father and give him a last vacation. He did not expect to find the island buzzing with excitement for the wedding of Sabry Mazzalupi to her boyfriend Cesare: the clumsy daughter of the Roman butcher Ruggero has become a web celebrity and her wedding is a social event that attracts the media and mysterious emissaries of the new political power. Two tribes of holidaymakers, two apparently irreconcilable Italies, destined to meet again on August, for a challenge this time definitive.
