1st Photocontest Straborgo 2024 “Straphoto”

The Click Art Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Porta a Mare Shopping Center, LEM Foundation and RCE Foto, organizes the 1st Photocontest Straborgo 2024 “Straphoto”, with a prize for the best author of €500.00 in vouchers to spend at RCE Foto and other prizes offered by Click Art Association and Porta a Mare Shopping Center.

The contest is open to all those who wish to engage in the creation of a photographic portfolio documenting and interpreting the festival in the village in its various aspects: the architecture, the sea, street life, the urban landscape, rowing races, the neighborhood party and the characters of Straborgo.

The deadline for registration is Wednesday, May 22, 2024, while Tuesday, May 28, 2024 a briefing is scheduled with all participants, details and advice on the conduct of the contest and a seminar conducted by Luigi Angelica at the Porta a Mare Shopping Center.

Friday, May 31 – June 1-2, 2024 there will be a meeting of participants with Luigi Angelica and the start of individual photographic routes in search of stories through the streets of the Borgo & Straborgo. Friday, June 21 is the deadline for the submission of works and Saturday, July 6 is scheduled the award ceremony event open to the public at the gallery of the Porta a Mare Shopping Center, with discussion and projection/presentation of portfolios/films.

REGISTRATION Participants must register and pay a fee of €15.00 to the Click Art Livorno Association for expenses related to the management of images, preparation of slideshows, videos and the final award event.
