The sound of Wednesday is JAZZ MEETS: the historic appointment with high-quality jazz returns every Wednesday, with the novelty of some special events outside the regular schedule (of Wednesdays). A series that, over the years, has become a reference point for all jazz enthusiasts along the coast.
With the passing of the founder of the Genoese school of singer-songwriters, Gian Franco Reverberi, which occurred on January 8th in Rome, the era of the great Italian songs of the second ‘900 closes.
Interestingly, among the greatest exponents of this trend, born in the capital of Liguria and cultivated in Milan by Ricordi and subsequently by other producers, there is precisely the Livornese Piero Ciampi, an adopted Genoese. The two artists were intimately linked by a deep friendship. Coevals, both born in 1934, they met during their military service and played together for a long time.
Don't miss any news about events in Livorno and surroundings.
