The Tesoretto di Suese: 175 Roman Republican denari

Saturday, September 16th, at 4 pm, at the Arena Licia in Guasticce, an afternoon immersed in history and archaeology, in which to listen – from the voices of the protagonists – to the experience of one of the most important discoveries of recent years: the “Tesoretto di Suese”. 175 Roman coins, found within the boundaries of the Tenuta Bellavista Insuese,

The event, free admission only by reservation, will take place in the presence of Dr. Lorella Alderighi (Superintendence ABAP of Pisa), Franco Sammartino and Alberto Cecio (Archaeological Paleontological Group of Livorno). The initiative will be moderated by Giuseppe Mascambruno, former director of La Nazione and Quotidiano Nazionale.

Following the event, at 6 pm, a small aperitif will be offered with a view of Lake Alberto, Guasticce.

The “Tesoretto di Suese”, already the protagonist of the exhibition held at the Museum of Natural History of the Mediterranean in Livorno until July 2nd, “returns home” for a special occasion, in which to discover anecdotes and curiosities thanks to the presence of the speakers.

The event will take place in a prestigious natural and cultural setting such as the Arena Licia, the natural amphitheater on the shores of Lake Alberto, inaugurated last June by Tenuta Bellavista Insuese and made exclusively with timber derived from the company’s forestry.
