Sunday, September 13, at 9.30 pm, Binario 9 e ¾ Orchestra in concert: The Railway Workers After Work Orchestra of Livorno was born as an evolution of a project called “Music Gym”, conceived by Maestro Claudio Parrini. The Music Gym, over the years, has evolved into a 24-piece orchestra that offers a varied repertoire ranging from jazz to bossa nova, from pop to swing. Free entry.

Tuesday, September 15, at 9.30 pm, “Jazz Journey” in concert: Maria Laura Bigliazzi has recorded with Ares Tavolazzi, Fabrizio Bosso and many others, sings in Portuguese and plays percussion. The concert offers songs in different moods, rhythms, and languages. Acoustic sounds, refined sound, and unique arrangements. The band combines jazz culture with Brazilian music and soul. Original songs will also be performed. The 4-piece band has an extensive curriculum. Entry fee, 10 euros.

Wednesday, September 16, at 9.30 pm, Daniele Gorgone and Nino Pellegrini in “20 Years”: Twenty years of musical collaboration between two great Livornese masters of international jazz, in a single concert. Daniele Gorgone on piano and Nino Pellegrini on double bass in “20 Years”. An intimate concert where the two jazz musicians retrace all the occasions when they played together in various contexts and formations, in Italy and abroad, performing original songs and standards. Entry fee, 10 euros.

Thursday, September 17, at 9 pm, Lamberto Giannini in “Presente storico”: A new appointment with history and lectures by Professor Lamberto Giannini, a philosophy and history teacher, as well as a director and playwright (both with Paolino Ruffini and with the Mayor Von Frinzius Company), who episode after episode, deals with all the events of the Twentieth century. Tonight’s theme is “Tangentopoli and the II Republic”. Free entry.

Friday, September 18, at 9.30 pm, Giovanni Battista Ferrara in “PenSieri SenSa Senso”: Life and everyday life are seen, in Ferrara’s monologue, from a very particular angle, almost sui generis where “everyday problems are faced with the lightness and necessary madness that life requires of us”. Almost a manifesto for the author/actor, who uses theater to give space to semi-serious reflections on today’s world; a world that if not experienced with the right dose of irony can be very dark and engulf you. Sunday, September 20, at 9.30 pm, “Flashback ’80”, Rock Music + Daydreams: A night “back in time” with concerts in one. The Eighties like you’ve never heard them before. From Alan Parson Project to Eurythmics to Phil Collins, from the soundtracks of legendary movies like Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Rocky, through the grit of Tina Turner, U2, Bryan Adams, to the most aggressive rock of Europe, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Van Halem. On stage, Paola Baroni (vocals), Chiara Filippeschi (vocals), Maurizio Bacciarelli (guitar), Giovanni Mattonai (keyboards), Massimiliano Bazzieri (bass), Mirko Lelli (drums) Together with them, Anna, Jacqueline, Matilde, Bianca, and Giorgia, in the “Daydreams” formation. Monday, September 21, at 9.30 pm, “Orizzonti Nomadi”: Orizzonti Nomadi is the Livornese cover band that revives the successes of the legendary “Nomadi”. With a repertoire that ranges from the deep Sixties to the Nineties, the concert delivers a passionate and heartfelt show with all the greatest hits of the “Nomadi”. The band consists of Aldo Zanni (guitar and vocals), Vincenzo Prisco (lead vocals and backing vocals), Marco Lenzi (keyboards and vocals), Tino Tozzi (bass and backing vocals), Francesco Granieri (drums and vocals).
