Sixth edition of Straborgo and sixth edition of the exhibition. “The collection of numerous images led me to conceive a set-up directly on the walls of the palaces from the beginning – explains the creator Stefano Pilato – at an approximate location of the original photographic shots, along a stretch of Borgo dei Cappuccini and neighboring streets. In total, there are over 200 photographs on display at about 30 stations, accompanied by captions in Italian and English. The selected photographs depict people and well-known characters in the neighborhood who have alternated in various eras, especially in the last century. There are portraits from the 1920s and 1930s, photos of groups of friends from the 1950s, artisans and merchants who populated a neighborhood that, even if not as in the 20th century, continues to live through its new inhabitants and new activities. The exhibition was designed to remain permanently set up and expanded over time”.
