Today more than ever, our time seems marked by existential uncertainties: from the loneliness that surrounds the individual to the increasing difficulty of communicating authentically, from the absence of truth to the crisis of politics, from the anxieties raised by technology to the ancestral fears linked to death — a taboo that, despite the centuries, remains unresolved.

The show, inspired by the eponymous publication of Matteo Saudino for Einaudi, invites the audience to reflect on how the insights of the great philosophers of antiquity can still offer valuable keys to interpreting the challenges and transformations of contemporary Western society.

Plato, with his vision of reality as the world of ideas, urges us to seek truth beyond appearances; Aristotle, with his reflection on ethics and happiness, instead invites us to cultivate virtue as a path to living a full and authentic life.
