Sounds and words in the hills. The Mascagni Conservatory at Villa Cristina

The initiative is promoted by the scout associations of Livorno, in collaboration with the Valle Benedetta Association, the Parish of San Giovanni Gualberto, with the contribution of the Municipality of Livorno. The Lions clubs of Livorno and the Friends of the Heart Association will also participate in the day, paying homage to Giorgio Pancrazi with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.

The musical protagonist of the 2025 edition will be the State Conservatory of Music “Pietro Mascagni” in Livorno, with a jazz ensemble prepared by Maestro Marco Nesi and conducted by Maestro Mauro Rosi. The program will be a tribute to the great Nini Rosso, a famous trumpeter and singer known for the song “Il Silenzio”, which will also be performed on this occasion.

Villa Cristina, managed for about thirty years by the Livorno scouts, is a special place immersed in nature, reachable on foot via two paths: one from the Tiro a Volo in Corbolone and one from the center of Valle Benedetta, both lasting about 45 minutes.

The day will be enriched by the possibility of having lunch on site, thanks to the products offered by Locas Livorno, Unicoop Tirreno, Pasticceria Cristiani, accompanied by Assuli wines and craft beer from Piccolo Birrificio Clandestino. There will be a medical station managed by the Livorno Misericordia.

As always, the organization is in charge of the scout associations, which will collect voluntary donations to support the maintenance and enhancement activities of Villa Cristina.

A free shuttle service is provided for people with mobility difficulties from the Tiro a Volo parking lot, with departures at 12:00 and 14:00, and return at the end of the event.
