All mom’s fault is a comedy and musical show, made up of parodies of famous songs revisited in a comic key, gags, sketches, imitations, and much more. A show that embraces Livornese culture and more. Singer-songwriter, comedian, with experience in dubbing as well, Gabriele Puccetti brings his one man show with a complete repertoire to the stage, without setting limits. The parodies of famous songs such as “Tango” by Tananai or “Due vite” by Mengoni, plus others, revisited in a Livornese key, have been a hit on social media for the past year, showing both the singing qualities of an artist who was born as a singer, and a strong comic vein in rewriting the lyrics and, with them, the stories of these and other songs, mixing local pride between Pisa and Livorno with unlikely love stories, betrayals and encounters, tormented relationships, but also passions and temptations.

But why “All mom’s fault”? The artist himself explains: “It’s a sarcastic title, in the show I also do a little monologue where I talk about my mom: if I’m here it’s because she brought me into the world, and then it’s her who, ever since I was little, inspired me with her ironic talent and the song parodies she did to make me happy. After all, art is feminine.”

Bio

Born and raised in Livorno, Gabriele Puccetti has been surrounded by art since he was a child within the walls of his home, and at the age of 6, he started taking singing lessons, and later approached acting as well. He participates in singing contests around Italy, until in 2008 he was chosen by composer and producer Fulvio Pietramala to sing a Giacomo Puccini song in a modern key, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the famous Italian composer. The song was released in a special album and, on that occasion, Gabriele Puccetti performed at the Auditorium San Romano in Lucca.

Subsequently, with conductor Mario Menicagli, he took part in a show on the Spoon River Anthology, inspired by Fabrizio De André in his 1971 album “Non al denaro non all’amore né al cielo”. The singer-songwriter genre is a field of research that Puccetti explores in his youth, ranging from Giorgio Gaber to Ivan Graziani, as well as De André himself and others. In 2013, he performed with a song at the Lucca Summer Festival accompanied by the orchestra, but in addition to music, he cultivates his aptitude for acting.

As a voice, author, and musician, he is the frontman of Jolly Cinema, a band active from 2012 to 2017 that plays singer-songwriter songs, and in 2017 he reached the finals of the Rock Targato Italia festival. A year later, as a solo artist, he won a scholarship in Milan at the Canto italiano 2018 contest with the song “La canzone di Nerone”, written with Marco Faragli (ex 360 Gradi) and produced by Gilberto Giaconi. Consequently, Gabriele Puccetti dedicated himself to the production of his first album of unpublished songs, which was released in 2019 and is titled “Capolinea”.

After the closures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he returned to performing both in venues and on the streets, while deepening his training as a vocal coach with Alex Mastromarino, his reference singing teacher as Fabio Ceccanti was previously. Today Gabriele Puccetti teaches singing at the Harmony Music School in Livorno, but in his training path, there is also dubbing, which he studied at the ADES Arte Dramma e Spettacolo school in Rome; an experience that allowed him to lend his voice as a dubber in some series released on the main streaming platforms.

In 2023, he started creating and sharing parodies of famous songs on social networks, bringing out his comic side for the first time. The success was such that Gabriele Puccetti deepened this part of himself, creating characters, monologues, and gags that made him a well-known face on social media and brought him to the stage, with his distinctive trait being the ability to combine musical qualities and a comic vein. In 2024, he met XLR Produzioni, from which the first theater tour with the show “All mom’s fault” was born.
