7600 meters offshore, starting from the Tower of Meloria and arriving at the Novi Lena docks, in the heart of Borgo Cappuccini
The ‘Risi’atori Cup’ is an intense and spectacular rowing race, born in 1978, dedicated to the memory of Tito Neri. It is a very challenging long-distance competition: 7600 meters in open sea, starting from the Tower of Meloria and finishing at the Novi Lena docks, in the heart of Borgo Cappuccini. The crews, on ten-oared rowing boats, face a challenge that requires great physical preparation, strategy, and courage, with the possibility of clashes at sea given the free route. The audience can follow the race from boats or from the shore, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere, with hundreds of boats and spectators gathered in the New Darsena.
