Rediscover the pleasure of reading aloud and listening by investigating the world of contemporary literature and essays with authors from Livorno.

The author will be the reader of some passages from his book surrounded by an audience of listeners in the reading agora. We will set up comfortable seats in a circle to create an engaging and welcoming “reading and listening room”. These will be the armchairs of the historic theater La Gran Guardia that we will make available, and thanks to the presence of a big screen, the audience will be able to follow the event better.

The themes will be varied and will involve writers, debutants or more established ones from the city of Livorno and the province. After a brief introduction by journalist Cristina Olivieri for Scorpio communication and advertising, the protagonist of the reading will reveal to the audience their creativity, imagination, or the facts of autobiographical stories, in-depth analysis, research, and studies on themes such as cinema, history, sports, cooking, historical novels, and mystery.

An important part of conviviality will include questions from the audience and dialogue between the author and the attendees, who will find in this space the ideal place to discover new books, new people, and new authors.

In other words, a space for Culture, for free expression, and for the exchange of knowledge.

There will be 7 meetings held on Friday afternoons from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
