But why “All because of mom”? The same artist explains it: «It’s a sarcastic title, in the show I also do a little monologue where I talk about my mom: if I’m here it’s because she brought me into the world, and then it’s really her who, since I was little, inspired me with her ironic talent and parodies of songs she used to make me laugh. Besides, art is feminine».
In 2025 by Gabriele Puccetti, artist and comedian from Livorno, opens on a high note with his first theater tour. The show will be called “All Mom’s Fault”, produced by XLR Productions: debut set for Friday, January 31 at the Teatro Comunale in Fauglia, and then on stage, subsequently, on Saturday, February 1 at the Teatro Marchionneschi in Guardistallo. Tickets are already sold out for these first two appointments, so hurry up for the Livorno date, scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at the Teatro Goldoni.
It will be a comedic and musical show, made up of parodies of famous songs revisited in a comedic way, gags, sketches, imitations, and much more. A show that embraces Livornese culture and beyond. Singer-songwriter, comedian, with experience also in the field of dubbing, Gabriele Puccetti brings his one man show to the stage with a complete repertoire, without limitations. Parodies of famous songs like “Tango” by Tananai or “Due vite” by Mengoni, and others, revisited in a Livornese key, have been a hit on social media for the past year, showing both the singing qualities of an artist who started out as a singer, and a strong comedic streak in rewriting the lyrics and, with them, the stories of these and other songs, mixing local pride between Pisa and Livorno with improbable love affairs, betrayals and encounters, tormented relationships, but also passions and temptations.
Imagination meets reality, giving life to monologues and characters: one above all, Sheyla, a stereotypical Livornese girl, a caricature that, truth be told, does not differ much from reality. Separated with two young children, Bryan and Zuleika, Sheyla is looking for a new love but she’s a woman who speaks her mind, as spontaneous in her relationships with others and facing everyday problems. Comical and vain, with long green hair, she has an adorable grandmother, Marisina, who worries about her and her grandchildren, but loves to remember her late husband Vanio with anecdotes and jokes.
But why “All Mom’s Fault”? The artist himself explains: “It’s a sarcastic title, in the show I also do a little monologue where I talk about my mom: if I’m here it’s because she brought me into the world, and then it’s she who, ever since I was little, inspired me with her ironic talent and parodies of songs she did to make me laugh. After all, art is feminine“.
