Pedaling with art: Livorno’s waterfront in 9 stages

Tour on bikes, thanks to the collaboration with FIAB Livorno, which through a route along the promenade tells the history of Livorno in various stages through panels – specifically installed in symbolic places – depicting the paintings of Puccini, Gambogi, Liegi, Fattori, Micheli, Müller, Peruzzi and Lomi: a kind of journey between reality and representation that, starting from the Quattro Mori, will arrive at the cliff of the Tamerice of Fattori, where a tasting will conclude the immersion in the city’s history with its most representative dish in street food version.

The route will highlight some glimpses immortalized by the canvases of well-known painters narrating the connections between territory and artists, between places and works, creating links between past and present, painting and reality. The ride will be interspersed with stops in front of the panels that are part of the Lungomare ad Arte route, discovering the iconic places of the Livornese coast.
