Disasters questions the usefulness of having a voice when we have no messages to convey, words to say, or truths to reveal. Four performers trapped in an endless series of grotesque situations, surrounded by technological devices like cell phones, cables, cameras, and microphones that are born and cry like babies or grow like forests and carnivorous plants, ready to do everything except amplify the sound and voice of those who approach us. Disasters aims to explore the complexity of the contemporary era and the difficulty of finding orientation in the deluge and continuous floods of information. The first stage of a three-year work by the Pilar Ternera Company, Disasters opens the trilogy dedicated to the Lost Heroes, to the theme of the end and the loss of meaning that we are experiencing.
