Welcome to the National Variety, an evening that offers various art numbers, with artists of tricolor fame and attractions of various kinds. The characters performing are all united by being Italian, by being disgusting and not feeling ashamed. They are the founding fathers of our beloved country, they are the caryatids of our conscience, they are encrustations of our history. Even if we believe we can get rid of them, we cannot. They will be with us forever. Even if we don’t know it, they sleep in our beds, travel in our purses.
Meanwhile, our appliances jam, break, and die a certain death thanks to planned obsolescence, reminding us that everything has a limited time. An unwanted guest confirms this, a strange invertebrate, who will peek in to have his say when we least expect it.
A grand finale will make us save every wreckage from the dump, in an evening that will throw your heart over many obstacles.
