Back from Saturday 7th to Sunday 15th September 2024 to its fifth edition Con-Fusione, a theater festival for new generations conceived and directed by Ilaria Di Luca and Andrea Gambuzza of Orto degli Ananassi, an artistic collective based at Teatro della Brigata, which for nine days will invade Livorno and its community with guests of national and international importance in many spaces scattered throughout the city from Museo Fattori, to Museo della Città, the reduced theater of Teatro Goldoni, to the park of Villa Fabbricotti and thanks to Costellazione, coordination of the Livorno scene, theaters and artistic venues of the city.
The festival will involve many city spaces not only purely theatrical in different neighborhoods of Livorno (La Goldonetta, Centro Artistico Il Grattacielo, Scuole Benci, Teatro Vertigo, Nuovo Teatro delle Commedie, Atelier delle Arti, Museo della Città, and Villa Fabbricotti) with a rich program of shows ranging from contemporary circus to puppet theater, from dance to storytelling and workshops designed for new generations and suitable from very early childhood (8 – 12 months).
Among the international guests Teatro Paraiso (Spain) and Lutkovno Gledalisce Ljubljana (Slovenia) hosted as part of the important European project Sense (of) Sharing, born with the aim of creating a cultural bridge between different European theater traditions, and also Sacchi di Sabbia with Marmocchio, a sort of marble Pinocchio, Emanuela Dall’Aglio with her delicate and imaginative universe, two works by Orto degli Ananassi including one at the festival’s opening in a national premiere, to end with a “feather fight” with Compagnia Melarancio, a battle with very soft pillows at Villa Fabbricotti.
