Luca Guidi and Francesco Luongo will take us to a very deep dimension of music telling us about singer-songwriters and authors mainly from the Italian tradition and narrating some of the most beautiful compositions by Guidi and his latest solo works. Luca Guidi, after a long apprenticeship with classical, rock, jazz and blues musicians, starts writing songs, which are immediately appreciated by Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, who will choose two of them for his album “Il mio stile”, Tenco Prize 2015. Since 2018, together with Tommaso Novi, Giulia Pratelli and Giorgio Mannucci, he has been touring with a show dedicated to Lucio Dalla titled “Come è profondo il mare”. In 2020 he released his first album of originals “Sudoku” (Non è mica dischi/Noteum), composed of 10 tracks that would lead him to win the “Premio Bindi” and the “Premio dei Premi” announced by M.E.I. Di Faenza.Francesco Luongo, born in 1982, has been a guitarist since the age of 17, he started playing out of necessity and after a few months he was already on stage. After collaborating with Blues Experience, Guerrilla Farming, Blues revolution (Pistoia blues 2008), Danny Bronzini, Niki La Rosa, Adriana Hamilton, Jubilation Gospel Choir and many others, he is currently engaged with the reggae group Hookah & the Trenchtown Train, the acoustic duo Streetlovers, the Hanguitar Project, an original music project involving Francesco Carone and Alessio Carnemolla, as well as the singer-songwriter Luca Guidi. Active for years in live music, he is often part of a house band that organizes rock/blues jam sessions and manages a weekly open mic, as well as being very active in busking.
